Now for those of you who would dismiss charts and graphs from heritage because they are a conservative will be missing out on some really nice, informative and visually appealing charts. I think this one, where you can separate tax burdens by income class levels is a good one. If you split the federal tax burden between the top 50% and the bottom 50% you see that the top 50% have accounted for between 82 to 89% of the Federal tax burden for around the last two decades. Or that the top 1% pay bear more of the tax burden now than they did in the 1980. However, to point this out would require that we abandoned thoughless hatred of the 1% so favored by leftists today.
