Canada Retires The Penny
The Canadian government has decided to stop minting the penny due to monetary debasement. Now they won't say its because of that, they will simply mention that it has become more expensive to make the penny due to the rise of commodities. But we know the real reason why commodity prices have risen like that have don't we. In other news, Canadian consumers get screwed because stores will now round up purchases if they the balance is greater than 2 cents. It may not seem like much, but cents do add up.
